Hi all new to the forum and think it is great, got a few answers for other apps from here over the years so keep up the good work, would have signed up and posted before but my expertise are in grey goods!

My problem is I have a AEG Competence b1180-1-m, tonight i turned it on and turned up the heat to 200, the electrics then tripped (RCD), i turned it back on again and left it on for half an hour then went to check the food (frozen kieves and chips) but i found the oven only got warm (i could touch the inside of the glass door, shelves etc without getting burnt).

The light is still working, the clock is still working and air is still blowing out from just under the control panel, is this a fan element problem? any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sweg.

Almost certainly the fan oven element which has failed. Drop and email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk and ask for an EL14106. Doesn’t appear to be in the shop@ facility.

    Useful article HERE.

Stay safe – power off if you intend to resolve this yourself.
