AEG competence B2190-1 GRILL turning off

Hi, i hope someone can help me with the below issue.

My oven is working fine but i have a issue with my grill. It turns on ok, the light is on, and the light next to the temperature gauge is lit. The grill then heats up to temperature, and after a while i hear hear the fan cut in, and the light is still on. What happens next is the rings on the top of the oven start to cool off as its reached temperature. The issue is that they don’t start to re-heat. The oven light then goes off, as well the temperature gauge light and nothing seems to work at all, even the oven. After a while when its cooled down it will work again, oven fine, though the grill would continue in this cycle.

I have a Thermal cut out cpl (P/N 899 661 92 67-61/1) spare as ive had to fit one before, though this is when i had an issue with the oven. Do you think this part could fix the grill issue or is it something else.

The part I mentioned above was all black so I’ve put a new one on and let’s see how it goes
