After reading a load of posts on these forums I took the control panel off my AEG Competence oven and saw that the little blue torpedo was burnt. So I ordered part 8996619297611 (which arrived promptly – thanks ukwhitegoods).
I’ve replace the burnt out part with the new part, and made sure that the blue and white wires are going where they should (where they went before). When I turn the power back on, the clock is working but when I go to turn the oven on, nothing at all? Any ideas what I have done???
I’ve refitted the old part but the oven still won’t work at all. I’ve checked all the connections into the control panel and the connections into the back of the oven and they all seem fine. Perfect timing…the family are coming for Easter on Saturday :rolls:
