    My AEG competence D5701-5-m (944171480) bottom (fan) oven seems to constantly heat, it beeps when it reaches temperature, but the heater element is still brightly glowing. When you turn it off, it still glows a bright orange….Until you turn it off at the wall.

    The sensor for the bottom oven has been changed and it has had a new temperature resister switch.

    Any clues as to what to check/change, before I resort to an engineer call out.

    Main power board has a stuck relay – common problem with fully electronic controls. Almost certainly a board required. Get an engineer check though as one board is showing as obsolete……. and you don’t need expensive mistakes…..

    Thanks, I was wondering if it was a power board problem. Guess ill have to get someone in to look at it 🙁
