AEG Competence display panel blank

I am trying to find out if the light(s) that display oven temperatures can be replaced. Ours has stopped working, although the rest of the display lights up ok (such as the descriptions: cakes/casseroles etc.).

Can anyone help, please?

Please…… we need the model number and preferably the serial number as well to have any chance of advising.

My apologies! It wasn’t on the oven and it’s taken me ages to find the manual: model no. is 76580 B but can’t locate the serial number. Hope this helps.

Not much to go on here – have found a parts listing (un-illustrated), but no tech info anymore. There are certainly no bulbs, lamps or neons listed for the control panel area. I can only suggest that you investigate behind the panel.

These old ovens are definitely a two-man lift, BTW – very heavy.
