    My AEG Competence B2100-1 PNC 944 181 731 cuts out about 20 minutes after switching it on. Fan totally stops and works again after switching off and letting the oven cool down.

    Any help/advice on how to fix this would be appreciated.

    Usually THIS LITTLE CHAPPIE is the culprit. Switches cooling fan on. If it doesn’t, overheat stat shuts the oven down.

    It’s under the top cover panel – power off first.

    I’ve just bought and replaced the same unit but still have same problem, except it now last 25 mins instead of 20.

    Any ideas ? was wondering if the new unit was faulty as the old one was very brown and burnt so clearly a good suspect as to the fault.

    Comes back to the same basic question – does the cooling fan run or not? The new inductor is unlikely to be faulty – Electrolux up-dated them two or three years ago due to a high failure rate.
