aeg competence single under counter oven.

hi, the oven is about 5 years old and has served us well up to now….. however the oven works fine and cooks fine but every time it is turned off it fuses all the sockets in the house.
the mains board has and rcd which trips out.
i know i could bypass this as there as other spare fuses that do not run through the rcd, but i think it may be trying to tell me something.
please help…..

When you say “turned off”, do you mean using the cooker switch on the wall? If so, the fault probably lies there rather than in the appliance. If it trips when you operate one of the knobs, which knob is it?
