AEG Compliance oven cutting out on Pyrolux setting

AEG Compliance B8340, PNC 944 181 750, cuts out after about 20 minutes working on the Pyrolux setting (either P1 or P2) and gives error code F1. All other oven functions seem to be working normally.

After reading other threads about this oven I’ve tried replacing the thermal cut out (part 3302081017 – thanks for help Dave C), but that hasn’t cured the problem.

Anything else I might try before calling in an engineer, please?

The door is not locking, so pyro cannot run.

Door lock is p/no 3301550-01/2, around £28 plus the VAT. However, you need to determine whether it’s the lock that’s failed, or the supply to it. Time to consider pro help perhaps?

Thanks Penguin45. I had a look at the lock and put an ohmmeter across the pins: no obvious signs of wear, and two of the pins had a few ohms across (presumably the solenoid), rest open circuit. I guess that’s how it should be. So it could be the circuit board that feeds it, rather than the lock.

Will call in the pros..
