AEG COMPTETENCE B4100-1 Convential oven works but not when using the fan to cook

The conventional oven, grill and lights work fine, and the fan is working, however when using the fan assisted oven the oven doesn’t heat up just luke warm.

The oven did trip the electrics and then the above problem has happened, the electics have not tripped since.

Can anyone let me know what is wrong please.

I have now investigated.. the element doesn’t look split or damaged as in the picture on the link, before I order the replacement element is this still the most likely cause?

if in any doubt it will need to be checked with a multimeter, 9 times out of 10 it is the element but there are times when it isnt, if you are going to take it out unplug it 1st

In the absence of visual evidence, you need to perform a resistance test using a multiimeter. No circuit = failed.
