Hi
Can someone please confirm the part number for the cooling fan thermostat on this oven. It’s the tiny stat taped to the harness with two white and two blue wires.
I think it’s 8996619265482
It’s nil stock and I don’t want to let my customer wait and then find it’s the wrong bit
Many thanksBob

It’s part number 8996619267611 Bob.
To confirm, have a look at the product in the shop:

That’s the one isn’t it ?
Dave.

ER? the picture looks like four amp tags leading nowhere?
Thanks for that, The part has been fitted before and the customer has a ServiceForce invoice with that part number on it.
thanks again Dave

Yep, that picture has to win the most useless part picture of the year!
Actualy, we are fitting loads of these right now, usual complaint being the oven cutting out completely when hot as the cooling fan is not being initialised. ID of this part is not helped by it not being shown on TDS or Pro corner and it being offically described as a “thermal cut out” which it is not. It first appears to be just a join of 4 wires but is infact a tiny heater strip wired in series with the oven fan element, the current for which heats up a bi-metal strip that initialises the cooling fan motor after a while. The object being that even when the oven is turned off, the cooling fan will continue to run until the bi-metal cools down and breaks to circuit. Simpl? yes, cheap? yes, reliable? It obviously fooled the ServiceForce engineer on this machine as he fitted FIVE components on the previous invoice for the same fault ❗
Thanks for the explanation.
