AEG Cooker Model B4101/4/M

    Can any one help with this problem please, customer uses the cooker works ok, a short while after she switches it off the clock goes off cooker dead, I found cooling fan was’nt working replaced the thermal cut out (the one with flying leads)every thing worked fine ie clock fan set cooker to 250degs again worked ok customer happy just had a call they used the cooker last night worked ok 2 hours later the clock went off cooker dead am I right in thinking it could be the clock i dont want to go to the expense of fitting a new one if somebody as a different answer

    If the time is not set on the clock the relay will not allow the oven to operate, as the clock has gone off I would agree that this would probably be the reason for the failure. Looking at the diagram it appears that the clock is connected direct across the mains. I think I would temporally bypass the relay connections to prove the fault. If you would like a diagram let me have you email address.
