AEG D1100-4 Oven – was warming up now shows no signs of life

Hi,

I have an AEG D1100-4 Electric Double Oven. Last night i put the main oven on to warm up in preperation to cook. I came back about 10 mins later and the oven was not on, although it was quie hot.

I presumed that something must have got to hot and tripped out so checked the mains circuit breaker which had not been tripped. I thought that if I just let it cool down then that may fix it.

I have looked again this morning and the situation is still the same. The symptoms are:

The main oven does not turn on (no fan, no light, no heat)
The top oven does not turn nor does the grill work (no fan, no ight, not heat)
The digital clock/timer also does not display anything.

I have taken the oven out of the cupboard it is installed in to have a look as I presume that some part has broken but I can not see anything too obvious.

Could anyone give me any tips to what my next steps should be or what part I should look at.
