ParticipantHI all
new baby arrived, 2 boys now so back to work for some peace and quite.
Anyway the problem I have is with a AEG d81000m double ovn prd 944171128 2 electronic timer boards.
It has a intermitant fault with the main ovn ( fan and conventional ) somtimes it needs 3 attemps to start and somtimes it starts but after a while it cuts back to just time of day and cools down.
Any one any idea where to start on these as I see power board, display board, ovn c/o, fan c/o, also a relay.
Also in the top ovn only the inner part of the grill works when you select full grill, dont know if both faults started at the same time or not.
Any advise on this would be greatly appreciated.sorry if spelling bad but lack of sleep & beer playing havock at the moment.
thanks

Ah, not twins then, I didn’t read it correctly 😳
Two files on their way that may help at this stage.

Thanks dave
Do you think the power board runs the display board or visa versa
timer just reverts back to time of day?November 5, 2004 at 8:51 am #119174Dave_Conway

No idea Paul to be honest, I’ve never seen one of these in the flesh as it were.
Normally a good clue is whether the display board has a large IC on it, if it hasn’t then the main board will be “telling” the display what to do.
Dave.
