AEG dishwasher 35085VI intermittent stopping mid-cycle

Customer reports that it sometimes stops after maybe about ten or fifteen minutes and then will only start again if reset. Didn’t put a foot wrong while I was there – it filled, heated, circulated the water and drained fine. I did however notice an occasional noise like the detergent door-flap opening – even after it had opened. Machine looks pretty clean and there are no internal leaks.

Any ideas?

can get the service man but need more info

full model is F35085VI
there are 5 of them with different pnc no first made jun 06 to the last one may 09
pnc numbers end 0300, 0301, 0302, 2200 and 2201

I have the exact same problem, same PNC no.
did you manage to get it fixed

Hi Suedehead,

Looking back in my 2014 diary I didn’t appear to get anywhere with this, although I seem to recall the customer continued to use it for some time after my visit. I wonder whether it might be a faulty door switch, door not shutting completely etc.
