    AEG FAVORIT89020VI PNC911938610 SN90870008
    This machine is stopping and draining during a wash cycle and displaying service code i60 which i am led to believe is an overheat fault. Water is pumping around ok so i’m thinking it is the ntc sensor. Apparently it can be PC board for this fault too.
    Anyone had this fault before and cured it?

    Thanks

    Ps I replaced the fan, motor and vent system at the top of machine a couple of months ago as condensation had corroded the little crochet motor and was tripping the rcd.

    Re: AEG Dishwasher error i60

    There are two different faults for I60
    overheating – The cycle stops and the drain
    pump switches on.
    Heating element faulty; Safety thermostats (open);
    Wiring faulty; NTC-sensor (thermal contact faulty);
    Scarce circulation of water in the tub; Wash pump
    faulty (damaged impeller) Main electronic board
    faulty

    Heating Time-out
    (the check takes place every 3 minutes:
    the temperature must increase by a
    certain amount at each step) – The programme continues to the
    end without heating (the washing
    result will probably be
    unsatisfactory
    Heating element faulty; intervention of safety
    thermostats (open); wiring faulty; NTC sensor (poor
    thermal contact); insufficient water circulating in the
    tub; washing pump faulty (impeller stripped); circuit
    board faulty.

    Replaced the ntc on this but customer says it is still throwing up error mid cycle and then draining. It is heating. Apparently its not doing it on the cooler washes ie 55 degrees.
    Any thoughts on this please?
