AEG dishwasher – F88060 Vi0P = errors i20 & i40

This is a weird fault, mainly because it’s intermittant….. Sometimes it stops after just 1 minute or nearer the end or sometimes it will finish the cycle (it works fine on rinse) but it heats up ok on all settings.

Error i20 says its a drain problem but there isn’t any issue with it empying – I put it on a short cycle and it was fine until the end then showed i20 AFTER it had just emptied and ahd started the drying part, so I’m very confused but can only think of a PCB error or communication failure (the parts list shows a Motor pcb & display pcb)

Any ideas please?

well i40 codes are pressure sw

have you checked its not blocked ?

The machine drains fine and the drainage is fine, it works most of the time but is very random with the error codes from what the cx was saying – it went through a 30min cylce fine except it failed at the end on the dry part…… so could the pressure switch be a potential intermittant problem?

you need to check for blockages in the pressure tubes
