aeg dishwasher not heating

Hi Guys,

Had a look at a slimline AEG dishwasher today (911788030/02).
Worked out after a little while: It only heats to luke-warm.

Metered heating element fine. Thought it must be the normal relay pcb problem, however the pcb looked A1, no dry joints. Followed one of the wires from element to a pressure switch. A couple of questions;

All my successful pcb 5-pin relay swaps have been obvious heat damage.
Do the newer boards fail without obvious burning?

Can a fault pressure switch cause no heat? I have the c/diagram but it is not clear if there are one or two pressure switches?

i carry a small 12 volt battery for testing relays. admittedly i’ve only diagnosed two not working by using this method. on both occasions they looked o.k. but were stuck in the off or no heat position.
