Hi, I have an AEG oven fitted 7 years ago. The left hand clip that holds the inner door glass in place has broken. It is still just about holding the glass in place but I want to replace it. My oven details, AEG model:BP3003001M, Prod:949718143-04. I believe the part number required is 355806202 but AEG spares just tell me the part is obsolete, no solution. I can find nothing on-line either. A very similar looking part with a similar number 3558062042 is available but may be subtlety different. I’m a bit worried even if it were to fit in case the plastic wasn’t suitable for the temperatures of the pyrolytic cleaning process. So, does anyone know if this is a suitable replacement, or can tell me where I can get an adequate replacement please. It seems a shame if you need to scrap an expensive oven because of a cheap plastic clip!
Thanks.Thanks Dave. The part you point me to is the 3558062042 and not the 355806202. They look very similar but I wonder why they would give the same part different numbers. Could be a slightly different size? Also I’m a bit worried that if the difference were the temperature rating of the plastic, then it might melt during pyrolytic cleaning. Anything else you can add to your previous response?

ok looking at the pic i would say the only difference is a cut out. you could get the other one and file or cut it out
you may have a slight gap as it looks different at the lower part of that side peice
cant be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} as you can guess but pics look very close
