    Have an AEG FAVORIT 60870 dishwasher and the door opens during the wash cycle. Have fitted a new door lock assy and adjusted engaging latch that it works with but the door still pops open a few seconds after the wash action starts. The baskets inside are not pushing against the door and its OK until the wash action starts. My question is has the door lock or door handle been modified as the whole mechanism is a bit pathetic?

    Door interlock tension needs to be adjusted.

    Thanks Seamy for the reply. Is there a tension adjuster on the latch mechanism?
