I have a drum support job to do on an AEG Li2700VIT, integrated washer/dryer, I know you are all envious. :rolls:

Not done one before ( have done bearing changes though ).

I was just interested to know if the bolts that secure the spider to the inner drum are likely to be a problem or will they remove easily?

I don’t believe so Jim, just regular 13mm bolt heads IIRC?

Warm the bolts up first, make sure you have a pristine spanner, preferably with 6 flat faces, and go at them gently.

Its all work but its one of those that you don’t feel that upset about if they decide against. 🙂

10mm if it’s a normal Lux spider. Like Alex says, easy to round them off if you don’t go careful. Best to have a spare one or two available.
