AEG-Electrolux Dishwasher not drying

We have an AEG Electrolux Favorit 55011VI integrated dishwasher, serial number 83520017 (about 2 years old). It has recently stopped drying though it still gets hot during the wash – it’s a cold fill and we consistently use the Intensiv care programme which washes at 70 degrees. Any ideas we can try, or do we need to call an engineer? Thanks.

Check that you are using rinse aid, lack of rinse aid will give the impression that appliance hasn’t dried correctly

Thanks – have done that. I’ve realised that it was only actually heating intermittently, and that when it does heat, it dries OK. Reading around the forums, this suggests the same relay/PCB problem several others have commented on. The fact it started working after my other half smacked the inside of the door near the switches backs this up too! When it packs up again we will investigate the PCB.
