    Hi guys just been to an Electrolux d98000vf 948522155 it had a burned out Pcb (beside the rings under the hob glass long and thin in a white casing ) it was E8 and intermittant the rings wouldnt come on. Changed the PCB now E9 comes up and im now stuck it just beeps at me. its freestanding.

    Would get them to double check the cable connections are correct, one of the plugs can go on incorrectly from memory, for instance there may be 9 connections on the socket of P.C.B but the plug is 8 way, if its not on the socket correctly the way the original one was it will give error code.
    Small data cables between the P.C.Bs on these are the most tempermental & give errors, sometimes making you think its more serious a problem. But if board was burn’t out then thats in need of replacement.

    connections are all where they came off from as far as I see, E9 fault still there so ordering new board in case its faulty, E8 before board change E9 after.Cheers Johnnyboy

    As I said I had the same fault, but plug was in wrong position, when moved over one tag position it worked perfect, no E9
