    Hi
    Its a magnetic pump that uses water for lubrication , putting any oil in it will contaminate your washing. If pump is not running correctly it needs replacing.

    We are talking 1-2ml of oil (wd40) up against how many liters of water? I’m aware of the issue, I was just so happy solving the problem with the slow rotation/pinching of the pump axle.

    That pump motor should have a thight elastomer gasket and oil filled housing, but then there would not be an after marked on the pumps. =)
