ParticipantHi All,
Been to this dishwasher today that flashes the end light four times and will only drain and does so with the door open. The customer had a blocked sink and it leaked and triggered the anti flood. I removed the water from the base, cleaned up the pressure switch hose and changed the pressure switch but it’s still the same. I have checked on connect to see if it has any other pressure switch fitted that could be causing the problem but I can’t find one listed.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Dave,
I fitted just the switch. The pressure switch on this machine is fitted to the lower front panel and is connected to the sump with a clear hose. Am I right in thinking this has the kit fitted already? I thought the non modified ones had the switch fitted straight into the sump.

Moderatorjust read your post again. your saying pump runs all the time so could the problems have popped the pump triac on the board ?

ParticipantYes pump does run all the time but it does stop when you switch the machine off. I lifted the anti flood switch and that kicks the pump in even if the machine is off. When you first switch it back on all the program lights come on and no pump and then within say 5 seconds the pump starts to run and the end light flashes/beeps 4 times. I will go back and see if I can see any damage to the board.
Thanks again.

Moderatorwell that would tell me the timer is not happy with the initial feedback from the pressure sw. is it likely this switch or wiring got wet ?
you now have 2 pressure switches ( one new and one old) both doing the same thing. you are either very unlucky and have another faulty pressure switch or its a board or wiring fault.
assume you have double checked the connection and switch wiring loom

ParticipantHi Dave,
Yes the connection to the switch and loom look all good. I’ll get back over and take another look at it and the board and go from there. The front/base cover was off when I got there so not sure just how wet it got underneath.
Thanks again,

ParticipantRay you should at least to get into service mode and take all steps:
1. read all errors;(please give the exact error, not just family error)
2. delete them;
3. run service programm.
Service program has the role to calibrate the pressure switch signal.
If pressure switch and his cable are ok but his frequeces isn’t iaccespted by the board you have to try to reprogramm the board.baron
