AEG F86050VI dw ‘end cycle light’ flashing, drain pmp runs

Or at least I think it’s the ‘end of cycle’ light – horizontal arrow pointing to vertical line.

Beeps three times and drain pump operating constantly. Apparently this is supposed to indicate not filling.

No water in base

Aquastop resistance in region of 13 megohm (far too high a resistance I would have thought.

Also on starting a cycle, voltage across aquatstop is about 180v and not the expected 230v.

I’m guessing some combination of faulty pcb and aquastop – any suggestions appreciated.

typical AEG you try to look up a model and cant find it because they list it under

FAV86050VI and not F86050VI as listed on the machine

have pm’ed you some light reading
