Hi, went to this fully intergrated D/w and found the element open circuit. The customer says it still goes through cycle?? She also said that sometimes it blows the fuse which figures. Does this machine have fault diagnosis? I have looked on the wiring diagram and have noticed there is a high temp stat in line but couldn’t locate it. My thinking is that the machine should get stuck on heat cycle and just keep washing. Also could the control board be blown on the heat cycle stopping fault diagnosis from working. Any answers please would be a great help. cheers
Re: AEG F86070v1 dishwasher???? fault diagnosis query
I’m not sure on this particular machine but the timer motor is often shorted out by the heater and therefore will not run during the heat pause. As soon as the stat opens and disconnects the heater, the timer will then run and advance out of the heat pause.
