Have one of these at the mo. PNC 911234721/00 where the circ motor sits and hums. No restrictions, swapped capacitor no change.

Ordered new motor and it comes with a kit (newer tacho type).
There are details on swapping hoses etc, with it but the motor wiring is the issue.
On the motor socket, the are two wires (blue and black that go to the block at the front of the machine and through into the door. It appears that the plug to that part of the socket comes from the mains filter via two blue wires. There doesn’t seem to be a facility for these wires with the new motor AND what would now control the tacho.
Or is it just the wrong motor kit (1110999917) 😥

    Mediator says, 1110990734

Edit: Hmm. looks same though. Complete with two pressure switches. Looks like two seperate wires for capacitor and a 4 terminal plug on motor body. ❓

I’d have to guess that your model just ignores the tacho. Though don’t know why the wires come from mains filter.

Looks like the L/N into the machine goes through the motor plug on the old motor but not on the new one on TDS. Puzzled I is.

I was looking at Mediator. Lot of service bulletins on there. Looks like lots of stuff was changed during productions of this model. Only Circuit diag I could see looked old and I couldn’t quite work it out. Don’t know if it’s same you were looking at? Can’t you just compare motors old and new, side by side, ignore tacho and copy wiring across?

ok these look worse than they are…puzzled me the first time…

ther original motor block has the mains cables running through them ( i odnt know why but they did !!!!!)

the new motor only has 2 connections which you connect the motor supply to..the mains connections are made using a connector in the kit and you just cable tie them into the loom away from the base…

All they did was use the motor plug as a connector junction box for the mains cable, the new machines have a seperate mains filter…you are just joining the 2 cables up, by bypassing the new motor plug

Some connect the tacho if it has it, if it dont just isolate the tacho connections from the new motor

WHATEVER U DO , DO NOT USE THE NEW WATER HOSE CLIPS FROM THE KIT, USE THE OLD ONES AS THEY ARE TIGHTER….i ignored this advice on my first one and flooded the base on the first fill !!!

hopr this helps. , typical german over engineering!!!! lol

    Cheers Chris

It makes sense now. There are no connectors in the kit but thats not a problem. All I’ve got to do now is try and follow the badly photocopied instructions for everything else 😉
