ParticipantHi
Recently my AEG dishwasher has stopped working.
It is displaying flashing lights on all the program select buttons as well as the salt indicator.
Does anyone know what this means?
Many Thanks

Do you have the PNC number from the rating plate as nothing shows for the model number?

Odd but I found it.
Check the handbook as you may have entered into the programming mode for options but the general advice there is to press the on/off switch to get out of it.
If it is a fault, how many lights are flashing?
It’s a bit confusing the way they done this one. 😕

It didnt seam to finish the wash cycle and the lihts are all flashing.
The rate is quite quick and only one flash per cycle.
The lights that are flashing are Fuction 1, 2, 3 and 4 and also the Control indicator,
Cheers

On re-reading the documentation a bit and, bearing in mind it’s late and I may have consumed alcohol…
It looks like the usual affair where it will beep or flash the lights so many times in a sequence, pause, then repeat. I or any of the guys need to know how many times it does that within the cycle to give you a reason or, at least a rough idea of what might be wrong.
Also keep in mind that this looks as if it’s been Italian or German and translated from one to the other then to English so, this evening, I have discovered a new technical language (again), this one I’m calling Geritalish.

Its a constant flash, there is no sequence, ie two flashes then wait then two flashes etc.
It is flashing about 2 flashes a second.
cheers

Determined by…
Display by END LED
2Hz / 5sec. PauseIf its constant flashing then you’re in programming mode from what I can see and, power cycling should clear that.
To clear and reset the fault memory in it, if it’s possible, from left to right…
Hold down button one and button three simultaneously with the dishwasher off. Keep them depressed and power on.
The first three LEDs should flash.
Press button two from the left hand side.
All LEDs should flash.
Power off.
Reset done.
Outside that you might need to get in someone to look at it.

It may be time to call an engineer in that case.
