The machine is about 2 years old and has worked fine up to now, however now the heater is not working, i.e. no hot water and not drying. I have checked out the heater and that is OK (continuity and applied mains). I have no technical info so I’m stuck at the moment. I suspect either a relay or control panel fault. Any one with any ideas will be much appreciated. Thanks 😕
Solved the problem yesterday, it was a fault on the control panel. The relay which applies 230V to the heater obviously had a poorly soldered joint to one of the o/p pins. This eventually burnt away the track around the pin until it stopped working. I wire wrapped the pin and resoldered it to the remaining track and it now works a treat.
