AEG favorit 86011vII/pcn 911937613/01 not heating up water during any of cycles.Have checked heater element resistance which is 25 ohms.There is a live feed to element but no neutral to make circuit.Is there a thermostat,have looked but can’t seem to find one,how is water temperature regulated?Have had PCB repaired which did have a fault with the heater circuit.Any suggestions would be grateful.Many Thanks all.

If you’ve gone that far you should be able to trace the neutral out.
Although I would suggest that you do so with the power off.

Hi,have done that,it goes to heater relay on pcb(which has been repaired)thinking is that whatever is controling water temp is not allowing relay to work correctley,but am uable to find temp sensor.How is water temp controled?Many Thanks NC.

Water temperature will be controlled by an NTC mounted around the tank somewhere or beside the heater, can be mounted on the heater. Its resistance is read by the PCB which will then engage or disengage the heater as required.
