AEG Favorit Active – Kick Panel removal

Hi

Got an AEG Favorit Active AA – pnc 911 232 547 00

It’s got a leak that’s triggering the aqua control system.

I’ve cleared the fault by tipping the machine, and need to remove the side panels to find the leak.

I’ve removed the top and all screws holding the side panels, but I can’t work out how to free them from the front edge.
From what I can see, it’s either something to do with 2 plastic clips on either side near top of door frame, or a further screw behind the front kick panel.
Without forcing them, I can’t work out the knack to removing either the clips or the kick-panel.

Anyone got any tips?

Oh, and yes I’ve unplugged it!

Two more screws – remove kick panel and you should be able to lift it away.

OK thanks, I thought I could see the screws, I just can’t work out how to get the kick panel off.
(without tearing it off or smashing it with a sledgehammer grrr 👿 )

Also what is the likely cause on this model, is it the filling matrix?

There should be two screws inset into the front moulding. Either pull the door down and work under it, or remove door outer panel for better access.
