AEG Favorit F50610W not heating or drying

I’ve checked the heater and it measures 26ohm so I don’t think that’s the problem.
Any other parts to check before I think about replacing the control module ?

when you measured the heater where did you take the reading from?

its important you take the plug out and take the reading from there as there are safety thermostats just after the plug

Readings taken with the two wire (blue & grey) connector plug to the heater removed.
The same reading across the solid wire bars of the heater and across the spade terminals of the socket.

have you looked at the module?

there is a relay that controls the heater on the board. check for dry solder joints, you could also try changing the relay as they do fail
