    Hi all,

Thanks in advance. I currently have a AEG Prointensive FAVORIT24502VIO integrated dishwasher that when I start say an Eco wash it starts normally then proceeds to fill the bottom of the dishwasher with water then stop. Once stopped it sounds one beep intermittently. In the manual this states that its an issue with the water supply and to:

Make sure water tap is open – It is
Make sure the pressure of the water supply is not too low – Under the sink it has about 2.5 Bar.
Make sure the tap is not clogged – I’ve removed the tap/pipe and blown through it
Make sure the filter in the inlet hose is not clogged – I removed a tiny tiny amount of grit from this but seemed mostly clean
Make sure the inlet hose has no kinks or bends – pipe is straight

I have very little knowledge of dishwashers. So far ive tried:
Resetting the dishwasher – This leads to flooding then the flood switch engages the pump.
Top up the washing machine manually – this also leads to a flood.
Both of these lead to water coming through the gaps in the door seels (delibrate holes / guessing its to stop water build up and flooding)

Any help is appreciated. Attached is a picture of the water system part that may help.

Sounds like it’s taking too much water rather than not enough! Does the drain pump not run when you reset?

Ok so I’ve found the attached part in the tray below the dishwasher. Anyone know where its from?
