    Good afternoon everyone,

The above dishwasher appears to have an obscure fault, that I’m struggling to diagnose.

Essentially, when a programme is set, the dishwasher drains as expected, but quickly starts beeping three times, with the three programme led’s flashing four times, when water is expected to be drawn. (the drain pump is deactivated at this time.)

I’ve tried a reset to no avail, and removed the dishwasher to test the anti-flood/float micro switch which is fine. (removal of dishwasher was extremely difficult to remove… extremely tight in housing, wooden blocks fitted under rear levelling/adjustment foot etc!)

Anyway, as time was also of the eseence, and further research required, I refitted the dishwasher, in order to try and obtain more information on the above problem.

    Any assistance much appreciated.

well 3 fault codes are associated with aqua control which is the float in the base of the machine. underneath where the motor is

check for water and check base has not been distorted activating the switch

    Mmm, I wonder…

The base may well have been distorted by the joiner/fitter, when the dishwasher was installed around five years ago…(as mentioned a poor installation, with blocks of wood placed underneath the rear levelling foot.)

Hence, I suspected the anti-flood mechanism/microswitch, which tested fine. (and clicks perfectly on and off when manually raised and lowered.)

So, I remain a little flustered, as the base and float appear to be fine!

Thanks for your help with the above, (and several other problems) throughout the year Dave.

    Merry Christmas,

    Jon
