    Need to replace the terminal block on my AEG induction hob (23 months old) after burning smell from arching when screw became lose. 18 months old I was told installation error not covered by guarantee. I have the new terminal block but cannot find out how to remove the old one could anyone help please.First time user so will apologise if not correctly posted.

    would need a model and pnc number to look it up

    but you have to split the unit either the top glass or the bottom will come off and normally the screws are round the side

    having a quick look at the terminal block

    it may just slide in and lock so you may not have to strip it

    Hi Dave Cannot thank you enough I have done it. It was held in on several positions by sprung plastic clips. Once out was a quick job to do. Once all terminals connected just poped back in. Wires connected and away we went. In this day and age, and with all that is going on in the world you have restored my faith in peoples. Please stay safe and healthy and a huge thank you from me for giving me guidance and the confidence to do it.
