AEG Integrated DW

    Sorry no model no but called 7 weeks ago for a flooded base and mopped it out ,couldn’t get it to leak .
    Now she has come back to say it’s happened again all I can remeber is that its an AEG not a zannusi.
    Anything common to look for

    The airbox on the left side of the machine is attached to a black hose that runs into the sump (similar to old Hotpoint / Bosch d/w’s) This hose blocks and the airbox overfills and the excess leaks out of the small clear plastic hose that feeds it into the base tray. If you clear the black sump hose and it still leaks into the base, a new airbox is the only answer. Not cheap……. :rolls: Someone said on these forums many moons ago that the AEG engineers used to loop the clear plastic hose up in a ‘U’ shape after cleaning to prevent it reoccurring. I’ve not tried that myself – but worth bearing in mind.
