Participantwhen machine is set on a heat cycle, it runs for about 15 to 20 then timer jumps to finish. the heater is working ok, also have tested it on spin cycle only, and it will complete cycle.

By “heat cycle” do you mean on tumble dry? Any error codes? If that dryer element has any earth leak greater than 40 meg or if the condenser is blocked the dryer will go faulty.

Martin, thanks for reply, the problem is on wash cycle, when the wash cycle aborted I checked the water was warming up, no error codes ?

will get back to you on that, as I only had a multimeter with me, tested with that. (naughty I know)
I presume the wash element is the same greater than 40 meg,

Update on this machine, customer has just done a 40 deg cycle wash &
tumble drying cycle. completed no problems
so it seems its only a problem on hot cycle !! confused !!February 17, 2013 at 7:51 pm #390338Martin

Aren’t we both, but we both love a challenge. Next step, out with the Megger, check both elements, resistance reading on water NTC and check through the diagnostics cycle for ‘last error code recorded’ would be the way forward.
A nice first call Monday morning job methinks. :clown:

Same as all the ELux stuff, power off, start/pause button, 1st option button etc……. (See Known Error Codes thread if you really have no idea what I’m talking about) or search ‘diagnostics’ as there’s more on the subject than you can shake a stick at! 😀
