    Has anyone had this problem with this Zanussi made machine.The condenser valve wont work on tumble dry but when I hard wire it using a flylead it works perfectly and water enters the condenser.Could it be the module?

    Doubt it. What else have you checked, have you looked at the bottom hose NTC?

    No i haven’t.Could it simply be a severed wire at the NTC?

    I checked the NTC resistance,6k @ ambient,then used hot water to test and it dropped to 1k.The wireing including the crimps all seemed ok so I reassembled and put the machine on test and guess what,hey presto the condenser valve opened.The customer has now run it twice and it’s drying perfectly.I think there must have been a high resistance at the spade connections.Thanks Martin for pointing me in the right direction.
