Aeg L14710 VIT E10 code

    Hi my Aeg L14710VIT washes alright but when on dryer tumbles for a short time then displays E10. Up to this point the heater and distribution fan are not activated..Thanks in advance Helen

    the green valve coil which feeds the condesnser is faulty… plug out if your testing it!

    Thanks for prompt reply.Would that also stop the heater and fan motor being energised??

    it would. it simpy doesnt see the point of carrying on, wasting electricity when it isnt goin to dry.. it does take 3-4 mins for the heater and fan to come on when its working normally anyway,, it tests components before it starts to dry

    Had machine running but both the heater and fan motor fail to start at anytime 🙁

    Replace the valve, only then will the fan and heater come on….OK?

    🙁 replaced valve but still the same.. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance

    which valve did you replace?

    next thing is to clean the condenser on the back, its probably full of fluff

    We’re never lost for ideas. Checking the heater element, dryer NTC’s and the main power board should form part of an on-going diagnostic procedure. Check and double check the order of the day……….. “……..to infinity and beyond…!” 😉
