    When you load this M/C with washing the motor has no guts and struggles to turn the drum. Checked motor brushes they are ok.
    Could it be the AC/DC Converter causing this problem I wonder 😕
    Any help would be great, thanks.

    Sounds more like the armature has lost the will……

    The GEC Hotpoint motors used to suffer from that problem now and again.

    Thanks for the replies, another machine for the scrap heap as a new motor is £162, what a waste 😥
