AEG L16820 facia lights flickering

hi,been to this today,when u select a program it comes up briefly flickering an then is blank,no lights at all,the door does lock an i noticed heat on the door interlock,changed that but exactly the same,im thinking pcb”s but has any one found simular problem,cheers

Most likely the loom to lock & p.c.b has burn’t connections. Worst case scenario p.c.b may need replaced.
Advise customer to switch off appliance when not in use to prevent cooking the door lock.
