AEG l16830 PNC 91460212201 dryer fault

if set to tumble dry only time counts down quickly & shuts down.have checked for error codes & got E72,changed NTC in hose & replaced connectors .Condenser clear & valve sol OK. Customer says if set to wash & dry works OK,but if on dry only cuts out.Have cleared fault code but comes back as soon as dryer runs. Am thinking PCB but wondered if any one has had same problem. also no earth faults (all better than 1000 meg.) Thanks Alan

alster, you need to clear stored fault codes in the diagnostic cycle, and then run through the whole diagnostic test routine, to ascertain next fault code. full instructions on connectS mediaTOR…

dryer elements always suspect on these, unusual for it to be the ntc at fault.

Valve solenoid (green) is also weak point. Goes o/c after 10 mins when warmed up. Although usually throws an E10.

Had allready cleared stored codes & test prog brings back E72.have since changed dryer valve coil allthough seemed ok just to be sure.dryer heaters reed perfect hot or cold. cust still says will work fine if they do auto wash & dry.fault only occurs on t/dry only. Thanks for input.Alan
