AEG L75670WD Washer Dryer Broken door

The outer plastic door on my AEG L75670WD Washer Dryer is broken. Can I still use it while I wait until an engineer can come to fix it? The inner glass door is intact.

A difficult question to answer without seeing the door as you will appreciate. If the outer plastic door surround is cracked then perhaps it would be safer if held it together temporarily with (e.g.) Duck Tape? If it’s badly cracked and broken and held together only by the effects of gravity and wishful thinking then NO! Wait until it can be fixed. In other words no hard and fast rules but let logic prevail otherwise the consequences could be dire. 😕

Thanks. Yes wishful thinking really. The plastic outer door surround is cracked and missing a 2 inch square piece 😕 my inclination was that to use the machine would not be wise. But the engineer can’t come for a week so my washing is piling up (I have a newborn at home).
