AEG Larder Fridge warm (S72348KA1)

Hi,

I had the Larder Fridge model number S72348KA1 delivered in August and had it installed last week after the kitchen was refitted.

It worked fine for the first 5 days then yesterday I noticed the temperature on it’s digital display was reading 10 degrees rather than than the 5 degrees it’s pre-set to. It’s now at 13 degrees.

I’ve tried turning it off and back on again to maybe try to reset it but still can’t hear the compressor running. I’ve pressed the ‘Cool-Matic’ button (a quick-chill feature) which normally turns on the fan/compressor (?) after a few seconds. But again nothing.

Am I missing something simple or do I need to get the manufacturer appointed engineer out?

What is likely to be the cause?

As its under warranty you need to call AEG’s “service force” for repair. Usualy in your yellow pages.

I got their contact details from the AEG website and they’re coming on Monday, but I just wanted to know if there’s anything simple that could maybe resolve the problem, i.e. leaving ot swtiched off for 24 hours etc.

I’m really not clued up on white goods :rolls:
