AEG LAV1370 obsolete part

I need the the part that the programme knob clips onto
Plate indicator part number 1246425001, Its listed as obsolete.

If anyone knows where i can get one, the machine is perfect .
I have asked customer to check the age of machine,
I think companys are supposed to supply parts for a minimum of 10 years
Is that a guideline or Law.
If it was a £200 machine you wouldnt expect it to last that long,
But AEG machines do
