We have a few problems with our washer dryer, the main one being that (this is not a joke) the wire from my wife’s underwire bra has lodged itself between the inner and outer drum of the washing machine making a hell of a noise, especially on fast spin. It sounds like a bicycle with a lollipop stick in the spokes. How it got through the small holes in the drum I don’t know. also the drum bearing is groaning and the drum supports have gone soft so that the motor is touching the back panel of the outer casing. My question is, Is there an easy way to remove the bra wire from the drum myself and as the machine is only six years old should I bother or just replace it. When we bought it we paid about 800 quid for it so I’m reluctant to let it go. I would like to tackle the jobs myself, can these be done or do I need any special tools. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks for your time,

What, replace a washing machine because of a bra wire stuck ? 😯

Please check the repairs@ link below for an independent engineer who will remove this for you, normally a pretty straightforward repair albeit a little fiddly at times 😀
