I opened up the machine and removed, cleaned and replaced the condenser.

On the first wash after this, after a few minutes the machine appeared dead. I pull out the emergency drain hose (the one at the front), and it literally came out – detached from the machine. Looks like it’s broken at the machine end. After that the machine came back to life with an EF0 error (presumably due to flood created by removed emergency drain hose).

I can empty it and replace the drain hose, but any ideas why it would have appeared dead (after filling) in the first place? I guess I disturbed something on removing/replacing the condenser, I’m just not sure what that could be.

    Thanks

You may have just pulled the hose too hard rather than it’s broken. Common for people to do that.

I can’t answer why it was dead prior to that mind.
