AEG Lavamat 50420

AEG Lavamat 50420 goes through complete wash but won’t spin (carbons Ok)

Wait 10 mins -to 15mins and select spin and machine will spin, but the machine allways seems to spin, if spin selected on its own and it has not just done a complete wash.

All valves are OK, no burn marks on PCB/timer.

Any ideas (apart from the obvious timer fault)

if water is emptying quick enough and pressure bottle clear then youd have suspect motor overheating ant cutting out on its own toc

Thanks for the reply martinm,

I have tested the motor when it won’t spin and there is no open circuit therefore if there was a cut out internally in the motor it would go O/C if the motor was overheating.

Useully there is a NTC in line with the Triac on the PCB, could this have a faullt and not working properly I am tempted to change it !

Any thoughts ???
