hi, can you advise on how to change the bearings on a aeg lavamat 50430. It about ten years old and is starting to rumble on the spin cycle. Will i need more that a bearing kit. Any advice gladly recievd?

Not an easy job, front & rear comes off the appliance for access. Take top off, take out soap drawer & remove fascia panel, take bellow off from front, take off interlock, at filter theres screws securing that need removed, take off kickplate panel. now front of appliance can be removed.
I normally take the complete wash tub unit out & split the tub, but it can be split in situ by removing the 17 tub screws.
removing the pulley & knocking out the drum by tapping the shaft with a wooden mallet being careful not to damage it.
Bearings & bearing seal can be knocked out carefully, inspect spider/shaft & replace if needed.
Reassemble it in reverse.
