AEG Lavamat 50700

Hi all, I have got a call to the above machine on thursday am and as my experience of these m/c are limited I thought I would get some advice before I go. The fault is that it spins as it should do first but it doesnt go onto the final spin, the cm has to move it on manually to open the door? Any common faults with these?

Modern Lux. Would suggest comprehensive search for low insulation esp. htr. ele(s) & mtr. Anything below 40 Mohm = problem.

Likely as not the air pressure tube is gunged up. It’s an old model no doubt done lots of mileage, also check those brushes while you’re there.:wink:

Didn’t realise that. You can probably ignore my post above as it only really relates to newer models with EWM2000 type boards that are a b*gg*r to get access to.
